I highly recommend the nature books by Maurice Pledger. We have enjoyed the peek-and-find and touch-and-feel adventure books. They are not just for toddlers, though, my five year old loves these! There is plenty of counting practice and nature study included. From ""crusty coral" to "shimmery dragonfly", this could be a fun way to introduce adjectives. Consider adding a few of these to your home library!
