1930s Inspiration

We watched a few youtube videos of people talking about life during the Great Depression.

I also read some from Reminisce Magazine's book, We Made Our Own Fun. I read some stories about trips to the swimming hole, making dandelion chains, decorating bikes for the Fourth of July parade, Dogwood seed popguns, worm hospitals, Morning Glory bloom paints, and more! Maybe something will catch on. They knew what I was trying to do.

Kit Kittredge inspired us to start a newspaper, The Superstar. Everyone was in a rush to get a "scoop." It was a lot of fun!
