Albert, lessons from a picture book

I love this one

Sometimes, I think I am like Albert--

"Albert looked at the grass and the trees and the sky. He listened to laughter nearby, a GOOD noise, and the siren of an ambulance far off, a BAD noise. And Albert knew now that BOTH were part of this big, wonderful world. He put his face up to the grillwork and felt the wind and the sun on his cheeks. "Just right," he said.

  1. Hi Cindy,

Popping by to say "hello"! I love all the bird drawings; we have been having so much fun discovering all the new birds here in Missouri. So much more variety than we had in Idaho!

You have some wonderful talent in the family.

    Love,

    Marqueta

  2. HI Cindy!
I found your blog through Michele's LEGO Creation Thursday link up! So glad I did! We love reading ALBERT, it's such a great book! Love all these wonderful drawings too! Your kids draw so well! Kimberly at Happy Hearts Academy hosts an Art Showcase each Friday and these drawings would be great to get linked up at Kimberly's blog. Just a thought! My kids enjoy seeing their artwork on my blog each Friday for the Art Showcase. Nice to "meet" you!
