For you, Brit

just listen

You may not be what I will always need
But I call you home
If I can call you home
Then you're good enough for me

~Tennessee (Mindy Smith)

Nature Girl

From our reading......this was great!

The scene: boys were about to throw rocks at Nathan Hale during recess when the schoolmaster caught them.

~ "Your recess is over," the master said. "In fact, your school is over. And you will not return unless one of your parents comes with you. Even then I'm not sure that I will take you. I won't have rock-throwers."

Wow!

To the Bully......

that decided that he wanted some money (and won't work for it)----

I wanted to tell you that you are not acting like a man. You decided to rob our kid who happens to be the pizza delivery guy (he escaped any injury). You took the time to "order a pizza" but that was really an ambush. Our son is working for a living. His clothes get greasy and his shoes get worn out. He works long, late hours. I assume that you don't work. I hope the twenty-five dollars was worth it. About his phone, why would he give it to you? He worked for it. He didn't steal it. You don't have the right to take it. Most people learn these lessons in early childhood.

A real man works. A real man is humble enough to deliver pizzas, wash dishes, or sweep the parking lot. He doesn't lurk in the dark with a gun. He doesn't use a gun to push people around. He doesn't demand money or property that is not his. He doesn't run away from the scene.

There is a lot more I could say.

Sorry to friends and family for having to read this.

My Perfect Life

"Mom, this is why my life is perfect:

I take walks
I take the dog outside
I go to bed
I go outside
I wake up"
